Rain, Rain, Go away. I know I shouldnt complain about the rain, after all its only been one day, still I can't help it. It might not have been so bad if I didn't have to go out today.
My morning started out busy as useal. Got the big one ready for school and out the door, pretty easy. I quickly got myself and the little one ready to head out the door, since I needed to have my car to the garage for its 25k maintenance at ten-thirty. Like a good little girl I was right on time in dropping off my car and was told it would only take an hour to do the check, the fix the gas pedal and give her an oil change, and that they would call me when it was done. Since they have always done a good job on being on time I headed out the door with my best friend confident that it wouldn't take long.
Since walmart is across the street we decided to kill our time there. Since we didn't really need much it proved more difficult than we expect. I watched the clock expecting to get called any second, an hour and a half and way to much money later we were still there.
There was nothing to do but go back over to the dealership and check on it. They told me that it was going to be an hour and I reminded them they told me that an hour and half ago. Fortunetly, they gave me a free loaner for the day, so I took that headed for home.
Most of the afternoon was filled with the basic things like cleaning, cooking, trying not to let the children make me crazy, you know, same ole' same ole'.
Tomorrow will be differant. There will be little time for fun, when there is a trip to prepare for!!!
