Oh wow, have I been busy! To busy to update for the last four years! Alot has happened in the slopey house since I last wrote. My sweet little baby girl is about to turn five! I can't believe shes so grown up. She will be starting kindergarten this fall, and you know, once they start school its all over. You might as well just kiss them good-bye because they will be out of the house and off to college before you have a chance to blink.
There is a new addition to our clan. Our little man, to carry on our unuseal family name. He just turned four months old, and he is just the sweetest damn thing in the whole world!
We have also moved out of that horrible horrible house we lived in and our of that horrible town! We now live closer to the "city" and closer to hubbys family. I am so much happier here.
We've been quite busy with the new house, hubbys finishing the basement. So far hes put in an office for himself. We are going to add a playroom for the kids and a bar room for us. Its going to great. Of course they are indoor projects better suited for the winter. Since this spring has been amazingly warm we've already been able to start on the deck. It should be done just in time for the big birthday party/bbq on the 30th. Also on the list of things to do this summer is building a garage. It will be great to have a place to store all the things we currently have outside. We will no longer have to be the ghetto house of the neighborhood!
This weekend we are heading to Mohegan sun for a weekend of gambling and Cracker! I don't know when we became such Cracker groupies but it will be my first Cracker show that I can actually drink! Both times we have seen them in the past I have been pregnant. I had decided I was never going to go see them again, because I definetly don't want more kids, but I'm not worried this time. I can't wait to go. I love my babies and I sure will miss them but this momma needs a getaway!
Theres so much to do for the next couple weeks. I"m going to be very busy. I have a feeling though, this summer, will be one of the best summers I've had in a long time. I'm optimistic!
